I think the song is not quite there...maybe if you change all the 'happy's to 'anxious' and 'clap along's to 'slap your face' it would be more authentically Alex Gobrenko?
Mr Gobrenko. I'm just blown away by the deep questions this song faces down. do i really believe that happiness is the truth? what DOES happiness mean to me? all the while, the narrator of the song affirms again and again, "I'M happy," as if to palm the back of my head and grind my face down into the dirt of my own existential quandry. by the end of the song the listener is dazed by the sordid repetition of "happy, happy happy, happy", the word seems to lose all meaning. And then finishing the song with an instruction: 'clap along, if that's what YOU want to do.' we are left with the sense of responsibility.
happiness: it's in our hands, quite literally. but what do WE choose to do?
This is so original. Like how did you arrive at this? (I laughed till I had to pause and catch my breath) Your talent is taking you places! You sing much better than Dobrenko.

Wonderful!
BWAHA, OMG...that song, though. Definitely a... different version. That was more like spoken word. LMAO

These newly Substack included banners are the worst idea I’ve seen on this platform. I did not read this post because of it…
