thank you Seth Werkheiser!! PERFECT description of what happens INSIDE the BATCAVE. I mean, I was there so I should know. Alex's slides are... can't give it away!! Ooo what the heck, his slides are silly but also super clever. He shows them to us in draft form so he can edit them while we're watching. You get the picture.

I’m listening to the replay and only on minute 25 so far, but just want to say: thank you, @Alex Dobrenko` and @Isabel Cowles Murphy.

I’m nodding along so hard—including the part about total likes on posts dropping after the Notes scroll replaced the Explore feed as the default. That change, combined with the huge influx of new users and social media feel, has really reduced my discoverability. And honestly, I’ve just been feeling pretty disheartened here lately.

Also: I’d totally join the BATCAVE, Alex, if I didn’t live in a completely different time zone.

Substack is a business , but if you have a business with purpose, you don’t have to be shameless. You don’t have to look at stats or analytics you just try to help and serve people.🙌🎉

I guess I'll have to watch this when I get back from the hospital...unless everything goes South, then I won't want to do much of anything. As I've gotten older, I've discovered that my motto of "Life goes on and then it doesn't," is more akin to a kick in the nuts.
